Meaning, not just words

A translator that is confident when it should not be is worse than no translator at all. Thai carries meaning in particles, in pronouns and in what is left out, and a machine that flattens all of that into something fluent is guessing quietly.

Khurak does the opposite. When a message is genuinely ambiguous, it shows the readings it is choosing between, says why, and offers to ask.

Not a verdict. Just the readings that fit.

  1. Literal No worries. The polite, everyday way to wave off an apology.
  2. Cultural No, thank you. A gentle way to turn down an offer without saying no.
  3. Feeling It’s fine. Sometimes said to end a disagreement, when it is not quite fine yet.

Before you ask.

Do we both need Khurak?

Yes. Khurak translates inside a conversation between two people, so each of you uses the app in your own language. One of you sends an invite and the other joins.

Which languages does Khurak speak?

Thai, with any one of English, Russian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Hindi, Vietnamese, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch and Polish.

Can someone find me on Khurak?

No. There is no search, no directory and no suggestions. A conversation only starts from an invite link or code that one of you sends.

What happens to my messages?

To translate a message, Khurak sends it to our servers. Voice notes and live captions send audio the same way, for as long as it takes to transcribe and translate. We do not sell data and we run no advertising. The privacy notice has every detail.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open Settings, then Your account, then Delete account. It happens immediately. If you have already removed the app, here is how to reach us.

I used Khurak in my browser. Where did it go?

Khurak lives in the App Store and Google Play now. Install the app and sign in with the same phone number, and your conversations are waiting there.
